Words cannot express how magnificent this production was in terms of spectacular execution and delivery of circus tricks. Fundamentally it seem as though it was designed to dazzle leaving the audience in a state of awe!
However personally it felt as though the intimacy was definitely loss, despite having first row seats, I was left empty yet full of awe as a result of the production quality and the amount of financial investment which was anchored into the development of the story of 'Avatar'. Excellent body paint and singing with brilliant circus performers.
Ultimately I imagine InDance BCN will endeavour to leave the audience with a philosophical thought pattern, an emotive response with a intimacy that delves deep into the notion of performance, i.e the expression and choreographic material drawing the audience into the journey, not following, instead a part of the experience.
