My collaborative practice has taken on numerous forms such as Digital, Audio Visual, Installations, AVATAR and Virtual environments which were created in London, Canada, Spain, Austria New York, Belgium and numerous other international locations. Collaboration encompasses the capacity to create a solid foundation for a research experience. I regard it as a collective interpretation with collective memories.
Tacit knowledge, stimulation and expansion has propelled my practice into unpredictable outcomes and working with a collective brings forth the capacity to investigate new methodologies for the development of performance works. I am open to different types of collaboration such as an interpretive research approach, theories and concepts that tend to arise from within the enquiry. I would define collaboration as a shared interest with a shared vision, which are identified and communicated through investigation.
Currently my team consists of numerous individuals with a variety of experiences surrounding Digital media, Photography, Dramaturgy, Scenography, Architecture, Audio and Visual and Videography. My long term aim is to create a collaborative identity independent from and yet related to the individual identities and voices of the artistic collaborators involved. I would also agree that collaboration is a collective of core authors and through persistent dialogue and communicative interaction the outcome is a dynamic accumulation of intricate and creative ideas.
Current work in development: e-HM-phasis
e-HM-phasis, a new digital screen dance work is the first stage of our international development of screen based dance works.
