Week 1: Northern Ballet

The Choreographers and Composer laboratory began as a explosive dialogue of ideas coupled with a wealth of perspectives on investigation and the creation of collaborative dance works.

Day 1 and 2: It was great to once again as a choreographer, be guided through a process of working collaboratively with Kim Brandstrup. Day 3: encompassed even more collaborative processes through the work of Peter Wiegold an extraordinary composer, conductor and director.

Day 3: Ritual, Ceremony and Connecting through the use of sound from a variety of instruments.

Fundamentally the lab has begun to unearth ideas and notions around creation and interpretation, conveyed through choreographic and musical processes of collaboration. We have observed, discussed, shaped and formed short works, propelled through experimentation.
